All of our bread boxes are made to order with your desired size, and wood species. This particular box is: 26" L x 9" W x 17" H. Prices will vary for different sizes, so make sure to contact us directly prior to ordering.
The bread box shown is made from solid hard maple and some walnut, however we offer our bread boxes in many different wood species or even a mix of species if desired. Some examples include: hard maple, walnut, oak, exotic woods such as mahogany, purple heart, and so on.
The pull out shelf is an edge grain cutting board made from hard maple and walnut. Perfect for cutting your bread on directly.
The storage box below utilizes a magnetic latch and has a see through window for displaying all your breads!
All the hardware are brushed nickel / stainless. However other options are available, just contact us first.
The bread box is finished using a food grade safe finish, and the cutting board shelf is finished with food grade safe mineral oil.
A 4 oz tin of our Moore’s Board Butter will be included with each bread box to condition your new cutting board when needed. All directions for application are included on the tin.
Surface wash only for all cutting board products. They should never be placed in a dishwasher. They will be ruined if ran through a dishwasher cycle. No replacement board would be provided if damaged in a dishwasher. To prevent warping and cracking as much as possible, we recommend that you clean your new cutting board with a damp cloth only. It should never be completely submerged in water and soap.
Please remember that each bread box and cutting board is made from wood, a natural living thing and each piece is unique. They can vary in color slightly from the photos and change over time. Natural characteristics of wood will include stripes, knots, color variations, minor cracks, defects all of which are natural occurrences in the wood. Due to the nature of the wood, some wood species will engrave darker or lighter than others compared to what is shown in the photos.
